Texas Municipal Police Association will be sponsoring a Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) updates training, to be held at the Refugio Police Department on February 23, 2012 from 8am-5pm. This training is FREE to all law enforcement. 8 hours of TCLEOSE credit will be awarded upon successful completion. Contact TMPA at

The primary purpose the SFST Refresher Training Program, funded through TxDOT in coordination with TMPA, is to improve the overall consistency of administration of the SFST test battery by individual police officers. Law Enforcement officers across the state have the opportunity to receive 8 hours of free training to increase expertise in DWI deterrence and decreasing alcohol-related crashes, deaths, and injuries.

Del Mar College will present the following FREE courses at the Refugio Police Department. If you live outside the Coastal Bend Council of Governments area, there will be a $25.00 administrative fee per student.
